Advocating for facial hair since 2003. Beard Team USA® represents facial hair in the United States and at international beard and moustache competitions, all while promoting the positive facial hair awareness and the generous and charitable community nationwide.
Membership in America’s team are open to everyone. There are no annoying applications, dues, membership requirements. All are welcome!
BTUSA® opposes discrimination against race, religion, gender, bearded, mustached, sideburned, goateed, or internal bearded.
Beard Team USA® is now organized by a group of contemporary members of the American Facial Hair Community. We are organized by a committee that takes pride in and recognizes the positive accomplishments of all beard clubs and organizations in the United Sates of America.
Since 2010, Beard Team USA® hosts and organizes the National Beard and Moustache Championships®.

MJ Johnson
International Man of Bearding Mystery, Founder of the Minneapolis Beard and Mustache Club. MJ has for the last four years worked with Minnesota Autism Center helping to organize their annual Beard-A-Thon. It has become one of their top fund raising events as kids grow or craft fantastic beards throughout the month of April (National Autism Awareness Month). MAC associates, students, and family members come from around the state for the epic finale at the end of the month.
For the last five years he's worked with The Moustache Run which is a November run of different lengths that takes place in downtown Minneapolis by the Mississippi River raising funds for Minnesota Cancer Coalition.

Alex was born in the late 70's in Eastern Tennessee and moved to Austin in 2003. He works for a large computer and mobile device company and enjoys homebrew, pickles, BBQ, electronic noise.

Originally from Hersey, PA. Taylor is an industrial design and a world traveler.

Jessica Ives
Tech lover, co-owner of 4 crazy awesome dogs. Jessica loves to hang on the side stage rallying beard and moustaches and partaking in the backstage shenanigans. This has been her calling in the bearding community since 2011.
